If you receive a referral from a GP or a psychiatrist with a” Mental Health Care Plan” you are entitled to Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual sessions as well as up to10 group therapy sessions each calendar year. If you make an appointment on your own initiative, without a doctor’s referral, you can be covered by your private health insurance depending on your health plan.

Appointments are typically 50 minutes long. During your initial appointment I gain a detailed understanding of you and your needs, so that subsequent sessions are relevant and helpful to you.
